May Is National STOP THE BLEED® Month

Knowing how to control bleeding from a serious injury is important for everyone. This year marks the 5th annual National STOP THE BLEED® Month in May, and the 6th annual National STOP THE BLEED® Day on May 25. There are several ways to become informed, educated, and empowered.

  • Get empowered: Follow the conversation on the ACS Twitter and Instagram accounts, and join the conversation on social media by using #NSTBM.  
  • Cheer on the Chicago Cubs while learning life-saving skills: On Thursday, May 25, the ACS will co-host an educational event at Gallagher Way a few hours before the game against the New York Mets.
